JJidula

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 31, 2026

Jidula LLC (“Jidula”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have, in connection with our website and the Jidula Secure Access Platform (“JSAP”) and related products (collectively, the “Services”). Privacy by design is one of our core engineering principles.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: name, email address, organization name, and password (stored securely, never in plain text).
  • Billing information: billing address and payment details, processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers on our own systems.
  • Device and usage information: device identifiers, connection metadata, and policy configuration necessary to provide secure access and content policy enforcement.
  • Communications: messages you send us through our contact form or support channels.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and secure the Services;
  • Process subscriptions, billing, and payments;
  • Enforce policy configurations you or your organization set (e.g. content filtering rules for a family or school);
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, or support requests;
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or security incidents;
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. AI-Assisted Features

JSAP uses AI to enhance certain security and policy decisions. AI never makes security-, access-, or account-affecting decisions autonomously — those require human review or approval under our Tiered Autonomy Model. AI-assisted processing operates on the data described above, solely to deliver and improve the Services.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf (e.g. hosting, payment processing, email delivery), under contractual confidentiality obligations;
  • Your organization’s administrator, where you are a member of a family, school, or business account, to the extent necessary for policy administration;
  • Law enforcement or regulators, where required by law;
  • A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this Policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account data as described in Section 7.

6. Security

We apply security-first, zero-trust principles across our platform, including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@jidula.com.

8. Children’s Privacy

Some of our Services (such as AfroKids and AfroFamily) are designed to help parents and guardians protect children online. Accounts and subscriptions are created and managed by a parent, guardian, or school administrator, not directly by children. We collect the minimum information necessary to provide policy enforcement for a protected device or profile.

9. International Data Transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for cross-border data transfers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy on this page with a revised effective date.
